In this silver-smithing workshop you will be going home with unique piece of sterling silver floral jewellery that you have hand crafted yourself.
In the morning part of the session, silver-smith Jasmine will guide you to create your very own sterling silver ring.
Once you’ve mastered the skills involved in simple ring making, you will use more advanced silver-smithing techniques in the afternoon to design, hand pierce, texture and form your floral piece to be added to your handmade ring before completing the final buff and polish.
Silversmithing techniques learnt in this session include hand piercing, soldering, texturing, forming and polishing.
This all day session includes a delicious lunch. Please advise of any dietary requirements on completing your booking.
All materials are provided, including the sterling silver required for your project and a take-home worksheet. A selection of pre-designed templates will be available for you to use, or create your own design.
Please tie long hair back, wear closed shoes and bring your reading glasses if you need them.
This workshop runs from 10am-6pm, Sunday 23rd May 2021 and includes a delicious lunch.
